Senior Accountants perform most work assigned with a minimum of assistance. They often lead one or more assistants, instruct them in work to be performed, review the work done, and direct necessary revisions. Seniors are required to make decisions on all but the most unusual accounting and auditing matters.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate extensive experience with ASC-740 tax accounting, particularly in areas such as tax accounting for stock-based compensation and FIN48.
Execute diverse accounting, auditing, and tax assignments under the guidance of supervisors, managers, or partners.
Showcase proficiency in technical skills, maintaining high work quality, and adhering to professional and firm standards.
Successfully meet time constraints and client deadlines, ensuring the timely completion of engagements.
Play an active role in the planning and scheduling of client engagements.
Provide clear directions and guidance to assistants, as necessary, overseeing their work and reviewing working papers.
Determine the scope of test-checking required during audits and select transactions for testing.
Prepare and organize working papers, conducting procedures aligned with generally accepted accounting principles to verify accuracy and validity of client financial matters.
Handle complex tax return preparation, including returns related to dissolution or liquidation.
Collaborate with supervisors, managers, or partners to propose client tax planning ideas.
Draft routine correspondence for client approval and Partner signature, as well as compose comments for management letters.
Craft reports, including footnotes and other relevant sections.
Demonstrate proactive ownership of projects, ensuring their completion and timely delivery to clients.
Perform a comprehensive range of accountant tasks, minimizing the need for direct supervision from higher-level professionals
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) is essential.
Hold a CPA qualification or its equivalent in the local country.
Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience within the public accounting industry, with exposure to a variety of roles.
Exhibit strong multitasking skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple engagements concurrently.
Expertise in corporate tax compliance, with a focus on preparing returns.
We are looking for a Lien Negotiator whose primary function will be to negotiate post-settlement liens, including health
insurance liens, hospital liens, private medical provider liens, and state and federal medical provider liens. They will also
be responsible for finalizing the case and providing clients with the best recovery possible and exhibit a high level of
efficiency and proficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Regularly keeping clients informed
Providing status updates to providers
Drafting reduction letters
Obtaining final medical balances at settlement
Assemble, organize, and itemize client medical bills
Communicate with Medi-cal and Medicare
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

Bachelor’s Degree from a 4 year university
